Wike, PDP BoT meet behind closed doors

ABUJA: Federal Capital Territory FCT Minister, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike on Tuesday had a closed door meeting with the Senator Adolphus Wabara-led Board of Trustees BoT of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP.

Although journalists were barred from the meeting, there were speculations that it was part of efforts to resolve tbe lingering crisis in the party, especially in Rivers state.

The BoT had in August written Wike, seeking a meeting, just days after meeting with the Rivers state Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.

It was not immediately clear whether the BoT was able to reach a resolution with the minister.
