Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Ogum revealed that his team utilized control tactics to manage their Capital City Africa Cup clash against DC United.Despite visa issues preventing the entire Kotoko squad from traveling to the United States, a Ghana Week DC Select Side, including five Kotoko players, was formed to compete.The select side surprised many by defeating DC United 2-1 in a highly competitive match. Reflecting on the game, Ogum explained the tactical adjustments his team made.”It was very competitive it was a game of two different styles very Athletic side they want to play the ball behind the defense and and try to make space behind the defense,” he said after the game.”We also try to see the game out we realize the athleticism was too much to their advantage so while they were trying to speed up we also tried to control and manage the game,” he added.
