‘My Brother’s Keeper’ is cancelled
Rhythm World’s hit telenovela, My Brother’s Keeper is canned.

Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela reports that fan-favourite TV show My Brother’s Keeper is cancelled.
“My Brother’s Keeper to be canned. The Rhythm World Productions produced telenovela will not be renewed for a third season,” says Mphela.
My Brother’s Keeper received over 600 000 viewers in September, according to the Broadcast Research Council of South Africa.
This is Rhythm World’s second telenovela after Umkhokha: The Curse to get cancelled this year.
The production also produces DStv’s most-watched TV show, Sibongile & The Dlaminis which has 1.5 million viewers.
BACKGROUND OF ‘MY BROTHER’S KEEPER’
My Brother’s Keeper stars Sdumo Mtshali, Nelisa Mchunu, Nkanyiso Mchunu, as well as Rosemary Zimu. The show also stars fan-favourite actors Wiseman Mncube, Zola Nombona and Lindani Nkosi.
The Rhythm World produced show tells the tale of a family drawn into a deadly succession battle of its own making.
