Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Huawei, a global information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices firm, has been awarded the prestigious Eastern Africa Cybersecurity Leadership and Innovation Award at the East Africa Internet Governance Forum (EAIGF).
The event, held from September 11 – 12 at the Serena Hotel in Kampala, Uganda, brought together key stakeholders from across the region to discuss and shape the future of internet governance.
The award recognizes Huawei’s outstanding contributions to enhancing cybersecurity and fostering innovation in the digital landscape of Eastern Africa.
