Ghanaian midfielder Baba Alhassan was sent off late in FCSB’s hard-fought 1-1 draw with Universitatea Craiova on November 3, in Romanian Superliga action at Stadionul Ion Oblemenco.FCSB took the lead early when David Miculescu scored in the 17th minute, capitalizing on a precise pass from Florin Tnase. However, Universitatea Craiova fought back, equalizing in the 62nd minute through Alexandru Cicaldaus penalty after Alhassan fouled tefan Baiaram in the box.The game took a heated turn in the final minutes, with both teams reduced to 10 men. Universitateas tefan Vldoiu was first to go, receiving a red card in the 41st minute for a second yellow.Baba Alhassan followed in stoppage time, receiving his red card after a VAR review showed a foul on Denil Maldonado. Shortly after, FCSBs Joyskim Dawa was also dismissed for protesting, leaving FCSB with nine players. FCSB will next face FC Midtjylland in the Europa League on November 7.
