Speaking after a meeting with the President’s Special Adviser on Energy, Dr. Olu Verheijen, Yuguda praised the administration’s approach, emphasizing that Tinubu’s government is delivering tangible results, unlike previous administrations that only made promises without implementation.

Yuguda also highlighted the need for public awareness of the government’s efforts, especially in transforming the power sector, and called on citizens to appreciate the president’s ongoing work to improve power distribution and affordability.

Dr. Verheijen outlined the administration’s efforts to attract investments in oil, gas, and power sectors, revealing that $600 million in investment interest has been generated in the energy sector over the past year. She emphasized the critical role of the oil and gas sector in stabilizing Nigeria’s economy and currency, as well as the importance of on-grid electrification for economic growth.
