Haashim Domingo leaving champions Mamelodi Sundowns on a free transfer could be one of the biggest transfer stories of the season.
Domingo has been confirmed as a free agent following contract talks between the player and the PSL giants breaking down.
He made over 50 appearances for Sundowns, scoring five goals and chipping in with six assists.

What are Sundowns planning?
Domingo was thought to be highly-rated by the club which makes the decision to allow him to walk away all the more surprising.
“We could not agree on new terms and I can confirm to you Haashim is a free agent as things stand,” his agent Lance Davids told SABC Sport.
The decision was not Domingo’s it appears.
“To be honest, he wanted to stay – he loves it there and has won three league titles since he joined Sundowns. But following a conversation with the sporting director, Mr Flemming Berg, we could not come to the same conclusion.”
Domingo is now out in the cold as the player explained they did all they could to secure a new deal with Sundowns.
“We exhausted all our options with Sundowns because we want what is best for the player and we know how much the coach admires him considering his age and what the technical team is building there,” added Davids.
Domingo joins veteran Andile Jali as the most recent exits from Chloorkop.
Domingo is a product of the Ajax Cape Town youth academy. He then cut his teeth in Europe with a stint in Portugal followed by a spell in Norway.
Gavin Hunt then lured him back to South Africa to play for him at Wits.
Domingo joined Sundowns when Wits was disbanded three seasons ago. Then teammates goalkeeper Ricardo Goss and striker Gift Motupa also joined the Brazilians at the same time.
