Allow me to re-introduce you to Adigo Digo, a Kenyan man who blew up the Internet a few weeks ago after breaking the bank to wed his model of a lover, aboard a flying plane. Adigo tells his story Speaking to a local publication, Adigo, 28 years old, narrated; “I longed to fly abroad, specifically Germany in 2018, but that did not happen. It is what inspired my decision partly to wed on a plane.” According to him, he wanted to do something out of the ordinary for his wife and that is when the idea of a plane came in. Disclosing that the two exchanged vows aboard a passenger plane at Wilson Airport and the reception held in Ukunda, Mombasa. “I had been planning and saving for the event to also inspire my fellow youth that a long journey begins with one step,” stated the fashion stylist. “I focused on hawking mitumba because while growing up, I didn’t have enough clothes. I wore the same clothes for weeks and had none for special occasions like Christmas,” Adigo explains.
