Weekend load shedding: Eskom to implement multiple power cut stages

ESKOM WEEKEND LOAD SHEDDING SCHEDULE

Stage 5 load shedding will be in place until 5:00 on Saturday. Thereafter, the national power utility will implement power cuts between Stages 2 and 5 during the course of the weekend.

As things stand, 17 392MW of capacity is unavailable due to breakdowns, while a further 2940MW is unavailable due to planned maintenance.
