Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane is entertaining his followers on social media with the famous Jomo Sono celebration.
Mosimane’s agency, MT Sports, shared a video of the Al Ahly mentor doing the ‘break the bones’ celebration that was made popular by Sono.
Sono does the celebration whenever Jomo Cosmos score a goal, and football fans around the country have become accustomed to it.
BUT WHY IS MOSIMANE DOING THE SONO CELEBRATION?
MT Sports, on behalf of Mosimane, is delivering one of his special gifts to Sono who gave the former Mamelodi Sundowns coach his biggest break as a footballer.
Mosimane was coached by Sono at Jomo Cosmos between 1982 and 1984 before he was signed by Sundowns in 1985.
In fact, Mosimane had three stints with Cosmos as he went back Sono’s club in 1986 and again in 1988.
Mosimane has always maintained that he’s an avid Jomo Cosmos supporter despite coaching at the highest level of African football.
