The trailer includes footage from both the PlayStation 4 Pro and the newly released next-gen PlayStation 5 (PS5), thanks to the console’s backward compatibility.

The trailer also highlights that the CK Projekt Red team continues to work on the game by “addressing bugs and glitches and enhancing graphics” to ensure we get the best possible experience on release day.

The gameplay in this trailer includes most of the new fixes. Furthermore, if you buy the current-gen Xbox or PS4 copy of Cyberpunk 2077, you’ll also get the next-gen copy for free once it releases in 2021.

What to expect

In this scenario with the Nomad pack, players must run contraband through some borders early on in the game. V and Jackie can be seen dealing with border guards and others from Night City.

The majority of the 6:46-minute trailer shows the PlayStation 4 version of the game, while we get a glimpse of the PlayStation 5 (PS5) gameplay during the last few minutes of the trailer.

Completion time

One Cyberpunk 2077 game developer, Łukasz Babiel, recently confirmed on Twitter that he played more than 175 hours of the game without finishing it yet.

Babiel took to Twitter with the classic “How It Started vs How It’s Going” trend and shared a screenshot of the Nomad pack, taken at the start of the game. The next screenshot showed the total playtime to be 175 hours and 43 minutes.

One asked if it takes 175 minutes to complete the game, Babiel replied:

“Not really, that’s just one of my ongoing slow-paced playthroughs on the hardest difficulty where I play more stealthy than usual, loot everything, use every feature the game has to offer, I take my time”.

‘Cyberpunk 2077’ release date

The game’s release has been pushed back more than once, much to the dismay of gamers the world over. As it stands, Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on 10 December 2020.

Other than the COVID-19 pandemic, one other reason for the delay was reportedly that Cyberpunk 2077 needed additional optimisations for current generation consoles.
