The Springboks had an advantage over their All Blacks opponents from the moment the national anthem was sung at the Mbombela Stadium on Saturday.

As exclusively reported by The South African website, South African jazz and Afro-pop singer Judith Sephuma was given the honour of singing Nkosi Sikelel’ iAfrika ahead of the blockbuster Rugby Championship clash in Nelspruit.

And along with the passionate crowd in attendance, Sephuma’s rendition of the anthem will live long in the memory of all Springboks supporters.

In excess of 42 000 fans turned up at the stadium to watch the Springboks dish out a 26-10 rugby lesson to the All Blacks in a final scoreline which not only flattered the New Zealanders, but heaped further pressure on coach Ian Foster and skipper Sam Cane.
