VIDEO: Inaki Williams scores stunner as Athletic Bilbao beat Osasuna in pre-season friendly
Black Stars forward Inaki Williams scored a beautiful curler to secure victory for Athletic Bilbao in their pre-season friendly against Osasuna.The Ghana international who has fully recovered from an injury that kept him out of June’s World Cup qualifiers, netted the winner with a fine second half strike.The Rojiblancos got off to a bright start after Alvaro Djalo broke the deadlock in the 19th minute but Osasuna levelled seven minutes later through Ruben Garcia.Williams curled home from the edge of the box in the 66th minute to hand Athletic Bilbao the EH Txapela trophy.Athletic Bilboa are eyeing another successful campaign after winning the Copa del Rey last season.Meanwhile, Williams’ junior brother Nico Williams is yet to return to camp after leading Spain to success at the European championship in Germany last month.He scored in the winner against England as La Roja were crown champions of Europe for the fourth time. His future at San Mames remains in doubt with Barcelona intensifying their pursuit of the 22-year-old.Watch video below:
