ZURICH, SWITZERLAND – JANUARY 11: Gerald AsamoahFormer Germany international, Gerald Asamoah, has flown 40 top surgeons to Ghana for his annual free heart surgeries for children with hole-in-heart conditions.The activity championed by the Gerald Asamoah Foundation is held every year as part of the ex-footballer’s initiative of giving back to the country he was born.The doctors will spent a few days in Ghana to perform the procedure on the selected children before returning to Germany.The team of surgeons arrived at the Kotoko International Airport, expressing their excitement about the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of Ghanaian children.
