VIDEO: Crazy, chaotic scenes as Chiefs-AmaZulu referee sees red

Kaizer Chiefs welcomed AmaZulu to the FNB Stadium for the first leg of their MTN8 semi-final clash this afternoon, with the game ending in a 1-1 draw. Yet, it will also be remembered for the chaotic scenes at the end as referee Victor Gomes took exception with apparent antics from AmaZulu on the sidelines.

Ultimately, a couple of players who weren’t on the pitch seemed to be red-carded along with new goalkeeper coach Hannes Absolom.

There is still drama on the pitch. Victor Gomez has called for security. The issue has to do with Veli Mothwa, who is still escorted by the officiating team.
