Veteran journalist Joe Kadhi is dead
Veteran journalist Joe Kadhi has passed away.
According to his family, Kadhi passed on Wednesday evening while undergoing treatment at the Nairobi Hospital.
The former managing editor of the Daily Nation also had stints as a lecturer at the University of Nairobi, United States International University Africa (USIU) and Addis Ababa University.
Kadhi won the lifetime achievement award at the 2015 Media Council’s Annual Journalism Excellence Awards.
He also chaired the editorial board of the Media observer magazine.
The veteran journalist will be buried on Thursday (today) in accordance with the Islam faith.
