Kibuli SS 3-0 Buddo SS
Record champions Kibuli Secondary School has settled for the 3rd position at the 2022 USSSA National Post Primaries after easing past two-time winners Buddo SS 3-0 in a one-sided classification game played on Friday.
A brace from Allan Oyirwoth and Dominic Ayella strike enabled the 13-time winners settle for the 3rd position to qualify for this year’s East African Secondary School Games (FEASSSA) due in September.
Kibuli bowed to defending champions St Mary’s School – Kitende (3-1) while Buddo SS fell 2-0 to debutants St Andrew Kaggwa – Gombe High School during Thursday’s semifinal clashes at Barifa stadium.
“We’ve won the game and the experience is good. I’m very proud that I have qualified for East African Secondary School Games for my first time in my career.” Said brace hero Oyirwoth who borrowed inspiration from URA FC striker Cromwell Rwothomio Abang.
Kibui SS joins St Mary’s Kitende and St Andrew Kaggwa – Gombe High School as the three teams to represent Uganda at the FEASSSA Games in Arusha, Tanzania.
The losers’ match comes as a curtain rising game prior to the much anticipated final between 2019 winners St Mary’s Kitende and St Andrew Kaggwa at 3PM.
