UHURU finally identifies the young man to lead Mt Kenya Politics – He may be RAILA ODINGA‘s running mate in August.
Friday, February 25, 2022 – President Uhuru Kenyatta is holding secret meetings at State House, Nairobi, and Sagana State Lodge, where he is hosting various leaders in his bid to resuscitate Jubilee Party and also campaign for former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s presidential bid in August.
Uhuru has already declared that he will support Raila Odinga, who he has termed a patriot, a Democrat, and an individual with Kenyans’ interests at heart.
Shortly after the Sagana meeting on Wednesday, President Uhuru is reported to have identified Nyeri Township Member of Parliament, Ngunjiri Wambugu, as the person who will lead the Jubilee party campaigns in the region.
The decision to pick Wambugu to take charge of Jubilee’s party campaigns places him in a pole position on the Raila Odinga running mate debate since the President has openly said that he is the one who will choose the former Premier’s running mate in August.
