This is what MARTHA KARUA has said after being asked about UHURU’s SAGANA III meeting!
Friday, February 25, 2022 – Narc Kenya Chairperson, Martha Karua, has reacted to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Wednesday meeting at Sagana State Lodge, where over 30,000 Mt Kenya leaders and opinion shapers gathered under the invitation of the Head of State.
During the colourful ceremony that was streamed live in almost all local TV stations, Uhuru endorsed former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, saying he is the best placed presidential candidate to succeed him in August.
Reacting to the meeting, Karua poured cold water on the gathering, saying it was just a meeting of Jubilee Party leaders and supporters and not Mt Kenya leaders.
Karua, who was among those who skipped the meeting, was responding to Citizen TV journalist Linus KaIkai who has argued that the Sagana III was for all the Mount Kenya leaders.
“No @LinusKaikaiit was @JubileePartyKMount Kenya forum period,” Karua said.
