DJ Tira has acknowledged DJ Zinhle’s decision not to perform at Fact Durban Rocks and has reportedly tagged along award-winning DJ and radio host Lerato Kganyago to take her slot.
A few weeks ago, DJ Zinhle made it known that she was not ready to travel to Durban after the father of her child, Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, was gunned down in the same city.

The award-winning rapper was gunned down at point blank in Durban in February 2023.
DJ Zinhle said: “I’m not ready for Durban. Emotionally I’m not ready at all. I get anxious thinking about being in Durban. It is going to be a while before I can be in Durban. I’m going through the most and forget about seeing me in Durban. It is just hard.”

However, after her decision, DJ Tira reportedly accepted her decision and replaced her with Lerato Kganyago after she voiced her fears.
Speaking to Daily Sun, DJ Tira said: “We support DJ Zinhle in her decision. We booked LKG in her slot. All is going well with preparations for Fact Durban Rocks.
We are looking forward at hosting people who will be attending Fact Durban Rocks this July,”

Zinhle was set to perform alongside some of South Africa’s finest on the big stage, like Sjava, Lamiez Holworthy and many more.
Fact Durban Rocks is one of the most significant musical events in South Africa that takes centre stage in July. However, her decision to snub Durban has often thrust her into top trends on Twitter.
Many questioned the reasons behind her snub, while others thought she was an attention seeker. Murdah Bongz was even dragged into the conversation as tweeps felt he was not being respected enough.
