The players have what it takes to play good football; the quality is there, says Black Stars coach Otto Addo

Black Stars trainingGhana head coach, Otto Addo has reaffirmed his belief in the quality of the players in the Black Stars.According to him, the players have the quality to play good football and win games as well.Speaking to the media team of the Ghana FA, Coach Otto Addo said this was evident when Ghana played against Angola and Sudan at home in the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.And I hope, and I think everybody who knows something about football has been there at our home games when we played against Nigeria, the home games where we played Angola or even now Accra Sudan knows that the players they have it if we stick to our strength and consistently with thinking about how we can bring our strength, and this is to play good football, the Black Stars coach said.Coach Otto Addo continued, We have the players who can play good football and combine it with our passion, then we can go forward even our bitter situation we are in now. And I was, you know, to be honest, I was, like, the last two days I was, I was down, but now I got a lot of positive feedback also, and a lot of support from family friends.Despite Ghanas major setback in the qualifiers for the 2025 AFCON, Coach Otto Addo is optimistic that qualification is still in the hands of his team heading into the final two games in Group F.
