Agent Mike Makaab has opined that Olisa Ndah will be with Orlando Pirates next season.
He said that the defender will line up for Bucs provided a tantalising offer doesn’t come in from abroad.
“He’s had a very difficult season with niggling injuries. Hopefully he is over the worst and, having spoken to the club just recently, they believe that he is well on his way to recovery and that he will be fully fit and ready to start the new season,” Makaab told Tshepang Mailwane of Soccer Laduma.
“There is still interest in Olisa overseas, both from the MLS and in Europe. But I don’t have to tell you that it’s all about timing. Sadly, as soon as the interest escalated, on the back of his performances which saw him being called into the Nigerian national team…as soon as that happened, he had a series of unfortunate injuries. He is a top class professional and top class person. I have no doubt that he will get back to where he was and beyond. Then we will take it one step at a time.
“If there is a serious offer, I’ve always had a wonderful relationship with the club. If the offer is serious and it’s good for him and fair to the club, then it will be seriously considered. But Olisa’s fine. He still has some years left on his contract.”

The future of Terrence Dzvukamanja will be on the table when PSL superagent Mike Makaab meets with Orlando Pirates Chairman Dr Irvin Khoza this week.
“I think Jose Riveiro has done an incredible job with Terrence. He’s given him an opportunity and even when Terrence has struggled, he’s continued his faith in him, and Terrence has rewarded Orlando Pirates. He’s scored some vital goals on their way to the second-place finish, and we all know that the most important goal he scored was in the Nedbank Cup final,” Makaab told Gagasi FM in quotes carried by Soccer Laduma.
“I’ve read reports that we’ve entered into fresh talks with Orlando Pirates. I’m flabbergasted as to where that comes from, but I will be engaging with the football club. I will be engaging with the Chairman just to see where he sees Dzvukamanja’s future, and I’ll be sitting down with the player himself and speak to him about where he sees his future. So, I think a lot of it will depend on the discussions that I’m going to have. I’m going to be in Johannesburg for the balance of this week. I’m hoping that we I can get this addressed during the course of this week so that when Terence goes back to his home country, he knows exactly what his future holds for him, and that for me is absolutely vital.”
