SOKOTO State Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has urged leaders to build on the legacies left by the former governor of old Kaduna State, Alhaji Abdulkadir Balarabe Musa.

This was as the Igbo community in Kaduna State, under the Igbo Community Welfare Association, said they would forever remember the former governor as a lover of all, who advocated Igbo presidency in his life.

Speaking at the weekend when he paid a condolence visit on the late Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) BoT chairman, Governor Tambuwal said Balarabe Musa’s death was a great loss to Nigeria, adding that the late icon would be difficult to replace.

Tambuwal, who came with top government officials from Sokoto State, said he was at the home of the ex-governor to condole with his family over the irreparable loss.

He said: “The death of Alhaji Balarabe Musa, former governor of Kaduna State, is a great loss to the North and to Nigeria. He will be very difficult to replace.

“There is a lot of lessons to be learnt from the kind of life lived by the late Alhaji Abdulkadir Balarabe Musa, his political style. He was always fighting for the masses.
