Swangz Avenue Unveils All-Star Album, Plans for Deluxe Edition

Swangz Avenue has raised the bar with its latest music initiative, the Swangz All-Star Album, a project that promises to foster collaboration among Ugandan artists and elevate Ugandan music on the international stage.

The album’s premiere event, held last night at Noni Vie, brought together industry leaders, music enthusiasts, and creatives from across the country.

Benon Mugumbya, the production director at Swangz Avenue, shared insights into the vision behind the album.

“This album is just Volume 1. In a couple of months, there’s going to be a Deluxe because there are a lot of songs that aren’t finished,” he revealed.

According to Benon, the deluxe edition will feature additional tracks that weren’t completed in time for the initial release.

Benon emphasized that Swangz Avenue’s goal is to produce these albums every two years, not just for Swangz artists but for all Ugandan musicians. He hopes this will foster a culture of collaboration and create high-quality music that meets global standards.

“We want to do this every two years, not for only Swangz artists but for every Ugandan artist,” he added.

The label has invited Ugandan musicians to participate in the next project, marking an open call for artists across genres to unite in creating impactful music.
