Stuart Baxter announced his ROTATION policy – several players will get a chance to play for Kaizer Chiefs and in different roles too – here’s what to expect…
Baxter is looking at testing his squad depth in the PSL coming weeks according to SoccerLaduma.
“Now we have the challenge of three games in a very short space of time. So, there will be a little bit of rotation I am supposing, and it will be a question of making sure the team retains a bit of balance, even though you’re making changes,” stated Baxter.
NJABULO’S TO FLEX VERSATILITY
Njabulo Blom and Njabulo Ngcobo have become utility backs at Amakhosi lately.
Blom was used in the midfield against AmaZulu while he has been used as a right back on several occasions. Baxter is likely to use both options as he tests out combinations. In contrast, Ngcobo was switched back to centre back after having played a couple of games in the midfield.
Expect Baxter to trial both options with Ngcobo.

SA football experts and fans alike are split with their views on his best position with even Hugo Broos debated Ngcobo’s best-suited position..
OPPORTUNITY ARISES FOR SIBUSISO MABILISO
With the injury to PSL veteran S’fiso Hlanti, Mabiliso has the opportunity to showcase his talents at left-back.
Mabiliso has not had a genuine chance yet having been suspended but he is back and will get his chance to show his worth in place of Hlanti.
This is an exciting prospect for Amakhosi fans who have been itching to see the left back in the Chiefs colours. Ramahlwe Mphahlele may also see more game time under Baxter during this time.
GRADUAL RETURNS FOR RETURNING CLUB GREATS
He is not the only exciting return from injury with Lebogang Manyama and Samir Nurkovic having recently returned to training at Naturena. Manyama and Nurkovic could get a run very soon as he returns to full fitness.
Chiefs issued an update on Nurkovic’s PSL return, with all three players on their way back.
