SSA to PDP National chairman hails military action against bandits in Northwest

SOKOTO: Senior Special Assistant, (SSA) on Media and Communications to the National Chairman of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Yusuf Dingyadi, has publicly praised the recent military action against banditry and Kidnapping for ransome in the northwest region.

Dingyadi praised actions by the military in an appearance on Garkuwa FM Radio breakfast program, “Karin Kumallo”.

He commended the federal government’s renewed commitments to addressing the challenges of insecurity in the region, citing the recent relocation of the state Minister of Defence, Bello Mohammed Matawalle, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Christopher Musa and other military chiefs to Sokoto as a significant gesture.

He noted that many citizens who underestimate the military’s efforts are unaware of the threats and challenges encountered during the war against bandits.
