Jacques Nienaber and the Springboks will have these TOP stars added to their squad before the Rugby Championship.
Nienaber and Rassie Erasmus will welcome several top players back into the Bok squad .
The likes of Cheslin Kolbe, Handre Pollard, Jasper Wiese will all join up with the Springboks in coming weeks. Whilst Vincent Koch, Trevor Nyakane and Warrick Gelant are all set to be available for selection as well.
SPRINGBOKS TO BE BOOSTED BY TOP STARS
When Nienaber named his 33-man Springboks training squad for the Rugby Championship, Kolbe, Pollard and Wiese were the most noticeable absentees while regular faces such as Koch and Nyakane were also excluded.
However, Pollard and Wiese will join up with the Boks will be added to the Boks squad after the Gallagher Premiership final concluded last weekend. Meaning, both players are set to join up with the Boks – if they haven’t already.

While Koch and Nyakane are likely to join up with the squad in a few weeks when the French Top 14 commences.
The final is on the 17th June. Meaning, both players should join the Boks after this final when they are eligible for selection. Unfortunately, theri current contracts do not allow them to be selected for the Boks during French season.
THREE PLAYERS WHO COULD MISS THE CUT
Finally, the same applies for Gelant.
However, he is not guaranteed a spot in the Bok squad with the fullbacks likely to be Willie le Roux and Damian Willemse.
Furthermore, Frans Steyn and Salmaan Moerat were both excluded with both players still nursing injuries. Unfortunately, none of these players are guarenteed a spot in Nienabers Rugby World Cup squad.
It’ll be interesting to see if Steyn makes in into this year’s squad given that he is a Bok legend and the Rugby World Cup is around the corner…
