Southampton defender Vestergaard admires Mohammed Salisu qualitiesÂ
Mohammed Salisu Southampton defender Jannik Vestergaard is amazed by the qualities possessed by his new teammate Mohammed Salisu who joined the club in the summer transfer window. The former Real Valladolid defender joined the club for a 10.9million but is yet to feature for the club in the ongoing campaign.According to Southampton coach, Mohammed Salisu isn’t ready yet but is optimistic the Ghanaian has a big future with the Saints with his talent.Vestergaard who has been training with Salisu has lifted the lid on the qualities possessed by the 21-year old and what the fans should expect from him.Obviously Ive seen a lot more of him than the fans have”.But he has had issues, so he hasnt been training at a hundred per cent until now, which is obviously then difficult to judge someone when they havent. But he looks comfortable on the ball, has an amazing physique and is just generally a nice guy.Quiet for now, but its always difficult coming as a new player, so maybe hes just saving up his words for later! But I think hes a big talent and he has a lot of years ahead of him.His English is better than I expected and he both understands everything and speaks fairly well.Mohammed Salisu after completing his move to the English side said: It is a very good feeling to be a Southamptonplayer.I am very happy to be part of the club and I am looking forward to starting here. Its a very good club for me to develop my skills and to learn a lot as a young player and Im very happy to join.Southampton has a fantastic history in developing young players and I hope I do my best to add to that group.”
