Sorisha’s return on ‘RHOD’ is up in the air after a dramatic reunion

Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) star Sorisha Naidoo has revealed that her return on season five of the series will depend on how her co-stars treat each other following a nasty season four reunion on Showmax.

During part two of the RHOD reunion, hosted by Mthokozisi “MaBlerh” Cele, Sorisha (who is married to business mogul, Vivian Reddy) walked out in tears.

NEIL’S CLAIMS AGAINST SORISHA ON ‘RHOD’ SEASON FOUR

This came after the former actress’s marriage to Vivian came under scrutiny following claims by Maria Valaskatzis’ “gusband” — Neil.

On the show, Neil claimed that Sorisha was Vivian’s side-chick before they got married. He further called Sorisha a “sl*t” and allegedly “said nasty things” about Oceans Mall — which is co-developed by her husband.

Addressing the claims, Sorisha labelled Neil a “non-factual person” who is chasing for clout.

“Number one, I’m not a side-chick. They [Vivian and his ex-wife] were separated,” she said before taking off her heels and walking off set.

‘I FEEL VERY DISHEARTENED’

Speaking about the incident, Sorisha said she had hoped for an apology from Nonku Williams, Maria and Jojo Robinson for laughing when Neil made the claims.

“I feel very disheartened that nobody felt that they had to apologise to me. By the time the apology was trying to come through at the reunion, I was over it. I was already checked out,” said Sorisha.

Despite what transpired, the former Scandal! actress said she has put everything behind her and she is in a positive space.

“I left everything that happened at the reunion. Now I am in a good place, surrounded by love and positive energy. I am not even thinking about anything from that day, I was there for 90% of the time. My hope was that we would clarify some issues and be able to amicably work some things out. But that did not happen. People were very hard in their mindsets and they weren’t going to change their minds. So there was no point in saying certain things.”

Sorisha added that she has learnt not to be a people pleaser. In addition, she said she is not certain about her return to the reality series, it will all depend on the behaviour of the other ladies.

“If there is a major shake-up, and the show is more aspirational, and we see each other as women and not anything else, I would be back for season 5.”
