Entangled star Olwethu Leshabane will also join the show as Menzi’s sister alongside Olive Strachan as Nokwanda Makwethu on 23 December.

The latest castings come after the show welcomed multi-award-winning actor Abdul Khoza this week.

Khoza portrays Zembe, a smooth, respectable businessman, who vibes with you until he flips the switch and shows you just how ruthless he really is.

Khoza’s character is all about those “protection fees” and getting to the top by any means necessary.

The publication adds that he’s been to jail and killed some people to get what he wants.

Gqeberha: The Empire star Unathi Faku also made his debut on Wednesday, 27 November as Xhanti.

THE END OF ‘MY BROTHER’S KEEPER’

The fan-favourite telenovela My Brother’s Keeper also stars Sdumo Mtshali, Nelisa Mchunu, Nkanyiso Mchunu, as well as Rosemary Zimu.

Other actors on the show include Wiseman Mncube, Zola Nombona and Lindani Nkosi.

Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela revealed earlier in November that the show has been cancelled.

“My Brother’s Keeper to be canned. The Rhythm World Productions produced telenovela will not be renewed for a third season,” says Mphela.

The telenovela is the second Rhythm World production to get cancelled after Umkhokha: The Curse this year.
