Sister Deborah was shocked when I called to ask for a feature – Medikal

Ghanaian rapper Medikal has revealed how his ex-girlfriend, Sister Debbie was shocked after he called to ask for a feature.

Social media users were shocked to see the former love birds together on the same set recording a music video for their new song titled, “Cold and Trophies”.

The new song of Medikl and Sister Debbie came as a shock to many Ghanaians because many did not expect any form of relationship or link between the two former love birds after their relationship crashed in a messy way.

During an interview on Accra-based Kingdom FM, Medikal indicated that prior to recording the song, he never had in mind who he wanted to feature.

Nevertheless, while recording his song, he felt the best female songstress to feature for his song was his former lover, Sister Debbie. According to him, he felt Sista Afia had the vibes and voice for the feature hence his decision to feature her.

When asked whether it was difficult to get her to feature he said “I’m not at loggerheads with her. We dated and things did not work out but that does not mean we have problems. When I called her for the first time after a long while, she was shocked I called. She then asked for the song, listened to it, and sent her verse over to me”.
