Silverbacks: 12-man Squad for Rescheduled AfroBasket Qualifiers Named

The Federation of Uganda Basketball Association (FUBA) has summoned 12 players on the men’s national team (Silverbacks) squad that will begin training for the rescheduled FIBA AfroBasket qualification games.

The squad of five home-based and seven professional players will depart on oversm the weekend to Rabat – Morocco for a ten-day residential camp before the games tip off on July 8th.

Guard Keiran Zziwa (University of Manitoba, Bistons) Mohamed Ghedi, a son to National Team Manager Hajji Santur are the two new inclusions in the Silverbacks squad.
