‘Scandal!’ star Litlhonolofatso Litlhakanyane bags international film role

Child star Lithlonolofatso Litlhakanyane, who stars in e.tv’s Scandal! has scored an international role.

LITLHONOLOFATSO LITLHAKANYANE: LATEST ROLE

Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela reports that Scandal! star Lithlonolofatso Litlhakanyane will star in international film Bird Boy.

“The actor, best known to Scandal! fans as Tebello, stars in an upcoming film called Bird Boy. The film is led by Hollywood star Tèa Leoni. This is his second international film following his lead role in ‘Thabo and the Rhino Case’,” reports Mphela.

In 2023, Litlhakanyane scored the role of Thabo in Thabo and Rhino Case film. The Sesotho-speaking child actor portrays an eleven-year-old Thabo who wants to become a private detective in the international film.

His character is put to the test when a rhino is murdered in the neighboring safari park because of its precious horn.

HIS ROLE IN ‘SCANDAL!’

The talented actor Lithlonolofatso Litlhakanyane plays the teenage role of Tibi in the e.tv show Scandal!.

He trended in March when his character began dating Nqobile (played by Zekhethelo Zondi).

The actor’s romance storyline had viewers of the e.tv show interested as they portrayed two kids, who have a crush on each other until they shared their first kiss on the show. 

iHarare reported that their first kiss stirred controversy among soapie fans, who demanded to know what the show is teaching their children. 

While some felt that the storyline was unnecessary as the child actors are too young to be intimate and that the show is promoting inappropriate behavior and sending the wrong message to its young audience.

Briefly reports that the fan-favourite actor is currently 13-years-old.
