SASSA: Get your Postbank Black Card at these stores in Gauteng
SASSA beneficiaries can now replace their Gold Card with the Postbank Black Card by choosing the option of visiting selected retail stores.
Postbank has been providing beneficiaries with updated lists of stores in various provinces that they can visit to collect their Black Cards. Here is the extensive list of retailers you can go to in Gauteng.
POSTBANK BLACK CARD COLLECTION
According to Postbank, SASSA recipients only need their ID to collect their new cards. It also explained that the gold cards will continue to work until beneficiaries change them. They expressed in a social media post urging beneficiaries to switch their cards.
“Gold Cards are working and will continue to work until Postbank issues every Gold Card beneficiary with a Black Card. No one has the right to tell you who to bank with, or change your SASSA Gold Card, even if that person is a SASSA official. Only Postbank has the right to replace SASSA Gold Cards.”
RETAIL STORES TO COLLECT POSTBANK BLACK CARD
Retail stores such as Pick n Pay, Boxer and Shoprite help recipients replace their cards. Postbank promised that they will continue to add more provinces and areas with stores that can offer card replacement. It said:
“If the card replacement is not happening closer to you, rest assured, we are coming your way. No one will be left behind.” Here is the list of retailers that offer this service in the Gauteng province.
