‘Same WhatsApp group’: Kaizer Chiefs coach Nabi matches Zwane and Ntseki’s ugly record
Despite being dubbed one of the best coaches in Africa, Nasreddine Nabi has failed to prove his dominance in the South African Premier League, with Kaizer Chiefs struggling with form.
KAIZER CHIEFS COACH NABI MATCHES ZWANE AND NTSEKI’S UGLY RECORD
The Tunisian tactician, best known as ‘the entertainer,’ was appointed Kaizer Chiefs head coach earlier this year.
His appointment was part of the club’s overhaul, which saw several big stars, including Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly, leave.
However, against his appointment, Nabi tagged along some of the best coaches to his technical team, leaving many convinced that the Soweto giants might end their trophy drought.
With just eight games in the Premier Soccer League, fans are more than convinced that he’s just the same as former coaches who were let go by the club for a poor run of results.
The Tunisian tactician, who has won big with African giants Young Africans and FAR Rabat, has equalled Ntseki and Zwane’s eight-game ugly run.
However, the two previous coaches managed 11 points from eight games and seemingly had similar records in wins, draws, and losses in eight games.
Arthur Zwane’s first 8 PSL matches as a permanent Kaizer Chiefs head coach
- 3 Defeats
- 2 Draws
- 3 Wins
- 11 Points
Molefi Ntseki’s first 8 PSL matches as a permanent Kaizer Chiefs head coach
- 3 Defeats
- 2 Draws
- 3 Wins
- 11 Points
Nasreddine Nabi’s first 8 PSL matches as a permanent Kaizer Chiefs head coach

- 2 Draws

- 11 Points
However, many are worried that Kaizer Chiefs coach Nabi has equalled the ugly record with a bigger budget than the two coaches.
With his technical team pocketing thousands, if not millions, from the Soweto giants.
EXPERIENCED COACHING STAFF
However, Ilyes Mzoughi is also part of Nabi’s coaching staff. He is a celebrated goalkeeper coach who has worked with several clubs across Africa, the Middle East, and the Mauritania national team.
Nabi’s coaching team also includes Majdi Safi, a highly experienced strength and conditioning coach who has worked with top players in Africa at Raja Athletic Club and Wydad Athletic Club.
His coaching staff includes Ayman Makroud, Kaizer Chiefs’ first-team performance analyst for AS Far and the Morocco national team. Makroud has analysed the Moroccan national team’s top matches.
The main man, Nasreddine Nabi, boasts of experience. He has had stints with the Sudanese side Al Hilal, Yanga, and now AS Far.
However, the Tunisian is also known to be a man on the move who acquires success in every club he goes to. In June 2023, he won back-to-back domestic trebles in Tanzania with Young Africans SC.
