Royal AM’s MamKhize is all about glitz and gold these days, but it has not always been luxury and glitter.
MAMKHIZE REVEALS DESPERATE PAST BEFORE RICHES
While having a reflective chat with iDiskiTimes this week, the flamboyant boss revealed how she had been triggered by 2022’s devastating floods in the KZN, where 400 lives were lost while thousands were left homeless.
“I’d really say we do feel their pain,” Mamkhize told David Kappel in the interview. “Considering the fact that I’ve been homeless before.
“So I understand exactly what they’re going through.”
“At some stage, my house burned down and I had to go stay at an orphanage.”
“So I understand exactly how it feels not to have a home,” Mamkhize added.
Meanwhile, MamKhize’s side are on the brink of qualifying for the CAF Champions League if Cape Town City fails to defeat Stellenbosch FC this weekend, while Royal AM also needs to win against Orlando Pirates.
