Chattanooga Red Wolves SC suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat to Forward Madison FC in their USL League One clash at Breese Stevens Field.Despite a strong performance from Ghanaian forward Ropapa Mensah, the Red Wolves couldn’t secure the points.Forward Madison took the lead in the 52nd minute when Aiden Mesias fired a left-footed shot into the top left corner. The Red Wolves responded 14 minutes later when Ropapa Mensah equalized with a well-timed header from close range, converting Lucas Coutinhos precise cross.As the match progressed, Forward Madison dominated possession with 68% of the ball, creating 17 total shots compared to the Red Wolves 9. The game looked to be heading for a draw until Christian Chaney converted a penalty deep into stoppage time, sealing the victory for Madison.With this defeat, the Red Wolves remain outside the playoff spots, and their next challenge comes on October 19th against the Richmond Kickers.
