The Director of Sports at the University of Ghana, Dr. Austin Wontepaga Luguterah, has praised Right to Dream Academy for addressing critical gaps in Ghanas sports development.Speaking at the academys 25th anniversary celebration, he lauded its contributions to nurturing talent and shaping future leaders.”They [Right to Dream] have shown in the past 25 years that they have produced so many great talents, and I can imagine how the next 25 years is going to look now,” Dr. Luguterah said.”The people we see now as kids, just add another 25 years to their lives, they are going to be the leaders.”Founded in 1999 by Tom Vernon, Right to Dream marked its silver jubilee with a grand durbar at Old Akrade in the Eastern Region.The event brought together alumni, community leaders, and dignitaries.Right to Dream unveiled a commemorative monument symbolizing its legacy, a testament to its impact on sports, academics, and personal development.”They are hidden in their own corner but producing huge people and impacting lives not only in Ghana but the world,” Dr. Luguterah added.With over 90 students currently enrolled, the academy continues its mission of transforming lives, producing notable graduates like Mohammed Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemana, and Ousseni Bouda.
