This artistic representation stands as a powerful reminder of the academys enduring legacy.Right to Dream Academy has commemorated its 25th anniversary with the unveiling of a symbolic monument at its Old Akrade campus in the Eastern Region.The milestone was marked with a grand durbar on Monday, November 25, attended by alumni, dignitaries, and community leaders.The newly unveiled monument, named “Kania” (Light in Twi), is composed of 25 pieces, each representing a year of the academy’s legacy.Chief Executive Officer of Right to Dream Ghana, Alex Asiedu, explained its significance, saying, “The 25 represents the 25 years Right to Dream has been [in existence], of excellent nurturing of talent on and off the field.”The event featured cultural displays by local residents, underscoring the academys profound impact on its host community since its establishment in 1999 by Tom Vernon.Over the years, Right to Dream has become a beacon of hope, combining sports and education to transform lives. Among its celebrated graduates are Ghanas Mohammed Kudus and Kamaldeen Sulemana, Burkina Fasos Ousseni Bouda, and Ivorian Simon Adingra.The academy remains committed to its mission of empowering young talent through holistic development, as it looks ahead to the future with renewed purpose and vision.
