Wednesday, January 26, 2022 – President Uhuru Kenyatta has vowed to spill the beans on what led to his fallout with his Deputy, William Ruto.
From 2018, Uhuru and his deputy have not been seeing each other eye to eye over what Jubilee Party Vice-chairman, David Murathe, termed as ‘irreconcilable differences.
Next month, Uhuru who has already endorsed former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s presidential bid in August will embark on a 1-month tour of the Mt Kenya region and he will explain to the residents why he fell out with DP Ruto.
“I am not mad to wake up and settle on a man I hated all my life and bypass my deputy. I will soon say the reason,” Uhuru told a local daily recently.
Impeccable sources said Uhuru fell out with his deputy in 2018 after he sent him a gift that was laced with deadly poison.
“Yes it was discovered it was laced with poison,” said a source.
Other sources said the gift had traces of cyanide.
Cyanide poisoning is poisoning that results from exposure to any of a number of forms of cyanide.
Early symptoms include headache, dizziness, fast heart rate, shortness of breath, and vomiting.
This phase may then be followed by seizures, slow heart rate, low blood pressure, loss of consciousness, and cardiac arrest and then death
