Abdul Aziz IssahBarcelonas acquisition of Ghanaian winger Abdul Aziz Issah from Dreams FC cost the Spanish giants 1 million euros, it has been revealed.The transfer, completed in the final days of the transfer window, saw Aziz join Barcelona on an initial loan deal until June 2025.According to sports journalist Saddick Adams, the initial offer from Barcelona was 400,000 euros, but the final deal amounted to 1 million euros.”Barcelona offered 400,000 euros, but the transfer ended up costing them 1 million,” Adams disclosed during an appearance on Angel TV.Aziz Issah’s move to Barcelona is part of a broader scouting and recruitment strategy, with him joining David Oduro as the second player from the Ghana Premier League to sign with the Catalan club.While Aziz joined on a loan basis, Oduro secured a permanent deal, signing a three-year contract.Adams expressed optimism about these transfers’ impact on Ghanaian players’ future.”Our reputation as a country will rise depending on how they (Aziz and Oduro) fare. Oduro and Aziz are very good players,” he stated.Both players will feature for Barcelona B with hopes of earning first-team opportunities having trained with Hansi Flick’s side recently.
