The 24-year-old has reportedly gone returned to his club as Kaizer Chiefs have let him know that he won’t be signed.

Bimenyimana says he even “blocked out” other options he had as he was sure the Soweto giants were going to offer him a contract.

He also accused the club of being unprofessional after they kept him waiting while they knew they wouldn’t sign him.

IT WAS ‘A WASTE OF TIME’ SAYS EX-CHIEFS TRIALIST

“I think they should have been honest with me and tell me the truth rather than keep me waiting,” he said as per KickOff.

“They are not professional. They should have been able to tell me the truth that they will not sign me so that I just move on without thinking of waiting for them as they have done now.

“During the three weeks that I spent with them, I blocked out other options because I was sure that I will get a deal there.

“Now, it feels like being with them was just a waste of time.

“I wish them all the best in the new season.”

Kaizer Chiefs have been hunting an out-and-out striker since the pre-season began and are yet to find a perfect fit.

Amakhosi also invited Wayde Lekay, Fuad Johnson and Darren Smith for trials, all of whom failed to convince coach Arthur Zwane to sign them.
