1.Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the eastern parts of the Northern Cape, and Oudtshoorn Municipality in the Western Cape.

1.Extremely hot conditions are expected over the Prince Albert and Oudtshoorn municipalities in the Western Cape.

Gauteng:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with scattered showers and thundershowers, but isolated in the Lowveld.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy in the morning with fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers, exPartly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers except in the north eastern parts.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated afternoon thundershowers.

Free State:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated afternoon thundershowers, but scattered in the east.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy along the coast in the evening with fog patches, otherwise fine to partly cloudy and warm to hot but very hot in the east, with afternoon isolated showers and thundershowers except in the west.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northwesterly to westerly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy with morning fog in places along the coast, otherwise fine and warm to hot but very hot to extremely hot over the Central and Little Karoo. It will become partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated thundershowers over the central and eastern parts by the afternoon.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly east of Cape Agulhas in the morning, otherwise moderate to fresh north-westerly to westerly moderating north of Betty’s Bay by the afternoon.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half – Cloudy at first in places south of the escarpment, otherwise fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon, with isolated showers and thundershowers over the northern and western interior.

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh easterly, reaching strong in places.

The Eastern half -Cloudy at first in places south of the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.

The Eastern half Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh north easterly.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning fog oveMorning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers but scattered in west and northern interior.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate easterly to north-easterly.
