Temperature and UVB forecast

Gauteng:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Cloudy in the morning with fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers but scattered on the Highveld.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy in the morning with fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers, except in the northeast.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot.

Free State:

Temperature: Fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the east, but scattered in the extreme east.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy with morning and evening fog along the coast, otherwise fine and warm to hot but very hot in the east. It will become partly cloudy in the north and east.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy along the south coast and adjacent interior as well as over the north-eastern interior in the morning, otherwise fine to partly cloudy and hot to very hot, but warm along the south coast.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be strong easterly along the south-coast and south of Cape Point otherwise light to moderate north-westerly to westerly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half – Cloudy at first, otherwise partly cloudy and warm

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh easterly, becoming strong west of St Francis in the evening.

The Eastern half -Cloudy at first, otherwise partly cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the east

The Eastern half Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh north easterly.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning fog over the western interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but cool in the south west. Scattered showers and thundershowers are expected in the south and west, otherwise isolated.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-easterly in the north in the morning, otherwise moderate to fresh easterly to north-easterly

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
