Realtor’s new housing project targets young buyers
Real estate developer, Rocksand Homes has embarked on construction of phase two of its multimillion shillings housing project in Kitengela, Kajiado County targeting young buyers.
The new project follows completion of Phase 1 of the Plains View housing project which consists of 32 three-bedroom bungalows at a cost of Ksh 162 million.
“Our mission is to provide affordable and quality housing solutions for all demographics. Young people today are not just dreamers but proactive investors looking to secure their futures through home ownership. We aim to empower them with modern yet affordable housing options that match their aspirations,” said Rocksand Homes General manager, Raisa Wamai.
According to Wamai, majority of phase 1 buyers at 80pc were millenials with Gen-Z making up 10pc of the purchases. Older buyers accounted for the remaining 10pc.
“Homeowners also enjoy the flexibility to select from a range of interior finishes including tiles, fittings, and paint colours while choosing between an open or closed kitchen layout, ensuring that each home reflects their style,” added Wamai.
The construction of the project is expected take between 12 to 15 months with a starting price of Ksh 5.5 million per unit.
