Reaction of Asante Kotoko fans means they believe we can do more â Prosper Ogum
The performances of Asante Kotoko have taken a downturn in the Ghana Premier League over the past week, causing discontent among the clubs fans.
The Porcupine Warriors have lost their last two games to Legon Cities and Heart of Lions at home, dropping from second to third on the table with 15 points, four points behind the top.
But Asante Kotoko Coach Prosper Ogum has urged fans to stick with the team.
It doesnt mean that its over. We still have so many games. The way they have supported us from the beginningthey should keep supporting us that way. They should still have confidence and belief in us.
They should still have respect for the team, knowing the team is capable of winning games and the championship. We are very happy with their support. We understand their emotions because they think the team is very good.
If they didnt believe the team was good, I dont think they would react the way they are. They know its a good team, and thats why they are reacting this way.
Asante Kotoko will play away to Bechem United in match round ten.
