President Ruto leads unity plea in Kakamega

Calls of unity dominated a church service at Ekambuli Church of God in Kwisero, Kakamega County, where President William Ruto joined a section of western Kenya top leaders in calling for unity of purpose devoid of tribal divisions among all Kenyans.

The leaders who pledged their full support for President William Ruto’s administration and vision of a united Kenya further appealed to all the citizenry to move beyond the 2022 elections and instead focus on the country’s development.

The leaders drawn from Western region also warned against divisive rhetoric noting that the country must now shift its focus to nation building for the benefit of all Kenyans.

In his address, President Ruto also focused on key initiatives for national progress, particularly in the healthcare sector.

He called on Kenyans to register with the Social Health Authority, emphasizing that the scheme will ensure equitable access to healthcare for all citizens, especially the vulnerable.

The President also reaffirmed his commitment to reforming the sugar industry, following the recent signing of the Sugar Bill 2022.
