Hlomla Dandala has continued his angry tirade at trolls in the wake of veteran actor Patrick Shai’s death. And included in his attack is rapper Cassper Nyovest.
The 65-year-old actor was found dead over the weekend after allegedly committing suicide. This after he apologised for insulting Cassper with a boxing match challenge in a viral video.
But Hlomla thinks that tweeps – particularly fans of Cassper – are to blame for the icon’s death. And he’s also accused the star of overreacting to a “joke” made by Patrick Shai, in which he took offence to.
HLOMLA DANDALA TAKES A SWIPE AT CASSPER
Days after slamming trolls for “cancelling” Patrick Shai over his video, Hlomla Dandala took aim at Cassper Nyovest.
In an Instagram post, Hlomla shared a definition of the phrase “son of a b***h”, of which Patrick Shai referred to Cassper as.
He wrote in the caption: “For the record: Son of a b***h is a slur. And is sometimes even used affectionately. It is not a reference to one’s family”.
In the comments section, which he has now turned off, Hlomla also insinuated that Cassper is to partly to blame for Patrick Shai’s death.
Responding to a follower, he wrote: “We all were [laughing]. We understood the joke. Mr I’m a Boxing Promoter didn’t. And inadvertently loosed dangerous, idiotic Black Twitter on Bra Pat.
“He definitely bears some of the blame. Not all. But definitely some. Don’t be a ‘my man’ and then when someone addresses you as one would a ‘My man’ you crumble and play victim for reactions. And when those reactions come, you again play innocent like you did nothing”.
PATRICK SHAI CONFIDED IN FRIEND AFTER CASSPER RUCKUS
Meanwhile a close friend of Patrick Shai has shared his last conversation with the star. In it, the star claims how was troubled by his words to Cassper.
Thabang Sefotho told 702’s Clement Manyathela: “Last Tuesday, I think, after the Cassper thing happened on the internet, I spoke to him. I called him and he was so apologetic. He broke down, he literally cried on the phone. He was very emotional.
“His last words to me were: ‘ I’ve tried to reach out to Cassper and the family, I’m speaking to the management but this character assassination on social media is really breaking me’.”
Thabang also used the opportunity to assure Cassper that Patrick Shai was remorseful of his actions. He added: “We lost a giant and if Cassper or any of his family members are listening, I can attest to it that the old man was truly apologetic.”
Hlomla responded to the clip with a post that read: “Trolls can curse me out all they like. The truth remains the truth. Now, let’s hear you come with new excuses to alleviate the horror of your actions”.
