HOW NDLONDLO MADE THE MOVE

Looking back at how the business was sealed, Ndlondlo confirmed that a call from the great Khoza changed his life.

“I got a call from the chairman, he said he wants to bring me to the team, and then I said it’s fine I don’t have a problem with that,” Ndlondlo told ThisIsFootball.Africa.

“I kindly said, we need to engage with Marumo Gallants and speak to them, fortunately, they agreed on terms and that’s how I moved.

“Everything went smoothly because they spoke and reached an agreement. It also came to me as a surprise, but I was privileged to get a call from the chairman.

“As like you are saying that it’s not anyone who gets to speak to him at any given time, it was an honour for me to be called by him,” Ndlondlo added.

“I didn’t even know it was him, and when I realised who am I speaking to, I was like wow, it’s chairman. So, I said to myself, okay now it’s the time where I have to move, since it is the chairman that called me.

“It was a life-changing call because since from then I got to play for a big club in the continent, so it’s a great one for me, I could not refuse playing for Pirates especially when you get a call from Dr. Khoza.

“Also playing for Pirates, you get to be exposed to continental football and Bafana,” the former Izinyoka and AmaZulu player concluded.
