Pineapple-infused Tender Pork Chops Recipe

5 pork chops

barbecue spice


1 tin pineapple pieces in natural juice (440 ml)

5 tbsp balsamic vinegar

4 tbsp brown sugar

2 tbsp grated ginger

3 tbsp corn flour

¼ tsp salt

½ cup water


Cut a slit or two in the fat to prevent the chop from curling. There is no need to trim the fat.
Place the chops on a bottom tray, then turn the setting to  200°C / 392°F for 30 minutes. Turn the chops after 15 minutes and continue frying until the time is done.
Take out the pork chops and allow to rest for 2 minutes before serving.
Add all the ingredients in a small saucepan and mix well. Place on medium heat and keep on stirring over the heat until the sauce has a thick consistency.
